The invention relates to the field of energy and can be used to produce steam. The known furnace containing a flame tube is located at the inlet of the burner and at the outlet is a confuser equipped with a swirler and a central opening connected to the afterburner chamber. The disadvantages of the known devices are the design complexity and low efficiency of fuel combustion. The purpose of the invention is to increase the combustion efficiency and simplify the design. This goal is achieved by the fact that the swirler is formed by grooves made in the wall of the confuser from the side facing the cavity of the flame tube and arranged tangentially to an imaginary circle inscribed in the hole of the confuser. In addition, the grooves are made tapering towards the confueor opening. FIG. 1 shows a firebox, longitudinal section; in fig. 2 - swirl. The firebox contains a flame tube 1 with a burner 2 located at the inlet, and a confuser 3 equipped with a swirler 4 and connected by a central hole 5 to the afterburning chamber 6 at the outlet. The swirler 4 is formed by grooves 7 located tangentially to an imaginary circle 8. The afterburner 6 is connected DGMOgarny tube 9 to the flue 10. For the removal of steam are the pipes 11.
